$2500, not quite free but close enough for an 05 in my opinion.
The side steps actually are solid, I stood on them to take a look at the sunroof (which needs a new seal, unfortunately)
Seems to be close to fully loaded aside from no navigation if that was even an option in 2005. LT, leather, full center console, front and rear climate control, heated memory seats, power adjustable pedals. I was shocked this year even had electric fans from the factory.
Needs an airbag sensor and the sunroof seal needs to be replaced but that's it. Has all new stainless brake lines, new tires, new rotors/pads all around, AC was recharged when I went to look at it Monday night. Friend of mine put it up on the lift before I handed him cash and it's a solid truck.
Not sure what the fate of the MK4 will be.

My '05 Sierra has electric fans too. Sounds specced basically the same as my truck even down to the sunroof, which mine unfortunately has started to get hairline cracks down the entire track as most of these do.3rdgenfan wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 10:32 am $2500, not quite free but close enough for an 05 in my opinion.

Wonder if that's whats going on with mine... although you can see daylight on the side closest to the back seat. I got home, parked it and haven't dug around it too much just yet.CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 10:43 amMy '05 Sierra has electric fans too. Do the suvs open to the outside as well? On the trucks the track is a piece of plastic with a curve in it that is attached to the glass. It slides on a pin iirc and the curve in the plastic is what lifts it out. The plastic gets brittle and starts to crack all the way down. Vertical hairline cracks. You might be able to see well enough if you open the shade inside and use a flashlight, but the best way is to open the sunroof and get on the side steps. If you do see the cracks just shut it and never use it again. The mechanism is only sold as the entire unit, and can legally only be purchased by a GM dealer for $1200. If the track breaks entirely there's nothing to hold the sunroof to the vehicle. At least nothing strong enough to keep it from blowing off on the highway.
Maybe you could get insurance to cover it for the cost of a deductible

Tahoe: loosened the sunroof and moved it back towards the rear of the truck and magically the leak is down to a few droplets in a heavy downpour, I'll check the drains next.
GTO: Huckleberry and I hung the bumper on the car finally after I got it painted (FYI, that's just a damn LED flood lamp throwing off the color). Oh and for some reason GM/Holden decided to use a clear 194esque bulb in the top driving lamp rather than amber so we went down to Hermanos de Pep and got something that looked a little better.

2009.5 G8 GXP with a cluctchy boi.
Corsa exhaust, some aeroforce gauges and a few suspension bits.
Bought it from the 2nd owner, has had it 9 years and bought an SS to replace it. Had a second silver GXP as well but in auto.
