Yeah I don’t like the bitter roasty burnt aftertaste of a lot of porters and stouts. I also don’t like coffee flavored beer. And could do without overly chocolatey beer.
Best porters I’ve had are Green Man from Asheville and this Bells one.

This definitely over chocolatey, imo. I thought it was pretty subtle, but YMMV, of course.

This Kojak was amazing. So full of flavor and smooth, like next-level Guinness.
