FCA has a corp deal with management at various plants to let employees drive new cars for really good deals. Some guy or gal was driving this around for 600/mth insurance and maintenance included. The cars and trucks get all the service done because its free.KYGTIGuy wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 5:27 pm "executive lease"

If the carfax is clean this should be a good buy.

Given the 15k on the hood, 4K off for 18k miles is an ok deal at Best

Though, this is very likely an early production unit. Is stay clear...

I priced one of those. Half those rebates don't apply. 4 to 7 off MSRP is more realistic. Most I could get was 7.5kmax225 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 8:48 pmhttps://www.southcountychryslerdodgejee ... 2afa23.htmTarspin wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 8:42 pm

"(2) California Non-Prime Retail Bonus Cash CACK1V The primary customer must have a FICO score below 620. "
another requirement is financing through Chrysler. With a credit score that low they know they are getting you for 6+% apr.

There are about 2k in one legged discounts after readingKYGTIGuy wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 10:04 pmI priced one of those. Half those rebates don't apply. 4 to 7 off MSRP is more realistic. Most I could get was 7.5kmax225 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 8:48 pm

The fine print but the is putting 8k on the hood, rest seems Cali specific ... so around 13-13.5 on hood
We have the same thing here. "Great lakes cash" Etc... I've been seeing internet prices around 10-12 off but actually getting like I said 4-7.
Which is still not bad not bad for a brand new truck.
I'm still not ready to buy so I'm going to miss all these deals anyway. Probably still a few months out if at all.
What happens in 118 miles that makes you get rid of a car?

Cooking the books. One more sale in October might have put them over the edge for a larger FCA bonus program. So they "sell" one car to the dealership and then re-sell it as a used car because they make more money that way.KYGTIGuy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 13, 2018 10:32 am What happens in 118 miles that makes you get rid of a car?

More than likely a dealership buyback, or lot damage over $2-3k that they’d then have to disclose to a new car customer.KYGTIGuy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 13, 2018 10:32 am What happens in 118 miles that makes you get rid of a car?

Punching the car as sold vs actually delivering the car are two different things. If I punch it this month for the reported sale then actually sell it in April, I can’t count it then.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Thu Dec 13, 2018 10:44 amCooking the books. It’s very rare for a dealer to sell it to themselves for the used inventory.

I this ... it must have been some kind of internal BS metric. You can not falsify sales externally as a publically traded company, that's the most heavily audited line of them all.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Thu Dec 13, 2018 12:21 pmSimilar practice was allegedly endorsed by FCAfledonfoot wrote: ↑Thu Dec 13, 2018 11:51 am
