They should write a letter to Toyota USA stating they were negligent in their axle build processes to allow it to separate from the vehicle.wap wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 3:27 pmYikes.4zilch wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 12:33 pm 404: not found.

Wasn't the truck lifted and the axle u-bolts weren't tightened all the way?

Right. The OEM is 100% at fault then.

Those plastic fantastic fender flares look stupid. As does the typical-of-Ford 90s graphics on the side. Looks good otherwise.
This isn't exactly a small vehicle though. It's really wide. Width is only 1" narrower than an F150 Raptor. Not as long though.

There is NO WAY it's that wide. I'm sure the that quoted the measurements misread the measurement that includes the mirrors or something. The F-150 Raptor is ridiculously wide. This cannot be that close.

As Detroit said there's speculation it's fake news due to measuring inconsistencies with the mirrors being deployed on one and retracted on another. BUT. Skinnier chassis, sure, but those fender flares. And then those length black plastic EXTRA FLARES on top of the already bulging fender flares. It's not a skinny vehicle.

Which is to me because part of what makes me my so much is it's narrow width. I'm sure this thing is at least a few inches wider than my ZR2. And that would suck because I've been able to fit my truck down ATV trails with minimal issue. I love that versatility.
