The Midwest is a little desperate for spring temps right now but no better way to fake it then to cozy up to the egg.
August corn will be way better but for now, good enough.

Not gonna watch the video in the dentist waiting room. What’s the advantage to this over a pizza stone for a fraction of the cost?

I usually just cook pizza on the grill. I can get it way hotter than an oven.
As the only published author in a well-known motorcycle publication in the room...
Yes. Turn on the broiler and let it heat up... violaCalvinball wrote: ↑Tue Apr 03, 2018 6:59 pmIn a regular oven?KYGTIGuy wrote:

Nah. I smoke with hickory. Mesquite is too menthol-y for me.
Never heard of smoking with actual coal.

I thought you were referring to actual, from the ground coal...lump charcoal is a different ball of wax..CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Wed Apr 04, 2018 2:19 pmBGEs use lump coal, which is hardwood.
Agree, Mesquite is only if you want your meat to taste like a stick.
And I'm assuming these "coal" fired pizza joints are referring to actual coal, the mineral.

Zilch made poke tonight and so much - I have been fighting sinus congestion and I always crave Asian stuff for the spice and the salt. He made a beef and broccoli last night that hit those notes too that was damn good.
