Where do you go to cash in a bond? Just your bank? Do you pay a fee?

Go to your bank and they'll take care of it for you. Should not be a fee for that.

There's also an online tool to figure out if it's fully matured I guess? Or figure out the maturity value? IDK if I need to do that before I go.

There is an online tool to figure that out. You don't need to do it as the Bank will have access to that information too.

The Scottrade site just seemed unnecessarily complicated. Like finding basic information such as "what is the cost basis of my shares in XX" was impossible. Or "I'd like to set up dividend reinvestment" wasn't possible at all. Trading was needlessly complicated with no automatic calculator to let you know how much you were committing (roughly)....
All that seems possible on the TD site. So it's a win I guess as long as they keep $7 trades.

I had to Google it.
TD Ameritrade is a brokerage firm based in Omaha, Nebraska. The letters TD are derived from Toronto-Dominion Bank, the largest shareholder. The company provides services for individuals and institutions that are investing online.

For my "fun" trading I use Robinhood. Totally free trades, deposits, and withdrawals. It's not the most full featured platform, but it's free.
Well they are currently offering free stock to new members and to existing members who get people to join...
Use mah link and we both get free money:
Join Robinhood and we'll both get a stock like Apple, Ford, or Sprint for free. Make sure you use my link.

Used it... now do I get the free stock tho ?

Any good stocks to invest in ? I am a bit hesitant to buy more tech as 70% of my portfolio is that...

Canadian mining firm? Risky with Trump being Trump?
It's in the gutter and the currency game is leaning in its favor. I'm not a great trader but it's one of 10 I've been watching for 2+ yrs. My guess is a nice spike soon but

Looked at the graphs ... looks like it’s been going straight down for the last 5 years
