She would probably enjoy a big city for it's diversity , especially with all those languages to her disposal? Which ones does she know how to speak?
She's from Barcelona so she is familiar with bigger cities but she's really liking Chicago.
At home she speaks only Greek to her mother and only Spanish to her father. She's gone to only French-speaking schools since grammar school so she's equally fluent in Greek, Spanish, and French. She also speaks Catalan since Barcelona is in the Catalonian region of Spain, plus her paternal grandfather speaks Catalan so she communicates with him in his first language. Then comes English. AF to me.
Wow that covers a tremendous amount of ground!

Also, I thought people in Barthelona speak Spanish with a lisp?

She seems to be doing well up there. She's going to school at a little university in Rouyn Noranda up in Quebec Provence. Do you know it?
No idea about but it sounds very French so she would get that European experience which I personally
Oh yea. They speak nothing but French up there and all her classes are in French, too. Although, she speaks proper French and Canadian French sounds funny to her.

So my niece who's visiting from Barcelona via Canuckistan (she's taking a year of college in some tiny Canadian village) is a 5/7 young lady. English is her FIFTH language.
a Spanish niece you say?
Half Spanish, half Greek. She's only 19 but very pretty.

Farmer French yo! We get that all the time. Poor Canuckians try so hard and then get the five finger treatment in France.
