Moving Miata ND tire kicking talk over here instead of filling up Jefe’s thread.
Highlights:
Probably a year or so away from making a decision
Things to consider: one car only, ND + FiST, ND + something else, how does this impact motorcycle plans?
Roadster vs. RF

Make the jump and try it while the opportunity presents itself. I know y'all are DINK life forever, so it's not like the door will close on convertible life, but no time like the present. You tend not to change cars as much as motorcycles but it's not a forever thing and, as has been pointed out, there's an SUV around and tow hitches that can be added. I managed to transport an inversion table in the S2000. I have faith in you.
I'm one to talk though, I think I mulled an S2K purchase for a good 2 years before pulling the trigger.

I wouldn't buy a diesel, and would prefer paneled version.

1). I won’t buy a competitor’s engine
2). I know first hand the challenges of modern diesel emissions
3). Company is tiny

I don't know why I have the urge to swap bikes more frequently than cars. For seem reason I view cars as longer term purchases, even though I pay nearly the same for a bike as I do a car..

I don't like stripes on any street car.
