Main reason I upgraded was that I was eligible, and the form factor. The screen in the X is bigger than the iPhone 7 plus but the device is as big as a 7. That alone wins it for my small ass hands.

I thought about getting the X, but the ear speaker bugs me eating a chunk out of the screen so I got an 8 Plus 256:
