I had some for dinner last night. The buttermilk crispy tenders from MacDoe. So good. Although this batch was kinda skimpy. My first order of them that I ever got was 5/7, this one was 4/7.

We had that a few weeks ago. Thinking about not getting sick over the next year or so.

windows on that one too.
Push them harder or keep shopping around. I was offered... uh $1500 off I think? but I wasn't serious about the vehicle. According to Max these should be $5k off easy. Which I'm pretty sure is fake news unicorn forumbreh pricing.

Yeah I won't be seriously looking until I get final confirmation on what's happening with my car.

Uber.
Your next ride is only 3 minutes away in most cases in California and you don't have to ask any favors. I've been doing it a lot lately for things like when I took my JKU to the detail shop to drop it off.

$17 one way to work.. at $34/day just to and from work, I'll just rent a little econo box so I at least have it to run around town after work too. Coworker has brought me to work the last two days, and Michelle picked me up from work Tuesday after I dropped the car off and yesterday. I'll fill both of their gas tanks tomorrow.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2017 2:15 pmUber.

Does anyone here use Sling TV or DirectTV Now? We have to switch from FIOS to Optimum when we move. I was thinking about just ordering an internet service package, and using my own modem and router, so there's no rental fees. Then using Sling TV or DirectTV Now for television service. A la carte channels. We don't need 1,500 channels. Only about $20-$40/month depending. No setup, can cancel whenever, and use your own device. No rental costs for stupid receivers. Not renting receivers basically covers the majority of the cost of either of these two services. Up to 3 devices can use the services at once, I believe. Sling TV has a Cloud DVR service, and DirectTV Now will have it this fall.

I tried Sling and Playstation Vue, and DirecTV Now has the same issues I had with the others...nuggstein wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2017 2:47 pm Does anyone here use Sling TV or DirectTV Now? 1. Streaming can suck balls, even if you have Gigabit internet and can download at 109 MegaBytes per second. Their servers are not the best and get overloaded at times.
2. Pause/Rewind was intermittent and buggy.
3. No surround sound, only 2 channel stereo audio supported on all channels.
4. Sports or fast motion streams looked like 480p images at best with a lot of macroblocking.
The streams they provide only use 3.7 - 5 megabit of bandwidth which is far too low. Even at 6 megabit everyone shits on comcast and satellite. For comparison, other the air HDTV can be up to 19.38 megabit, and usually is.
