sure, its a great little car. BUT it will need 20 year old car shit just like any other 20 year old car.

im happy troy can finally be content in :scrooge: poverty :stig: car but this aint no new ground break formula or some :unicorn: :tits:

its a mediocre dill at best for $5k. but a great platform, just get ready for motor swaps. They are plagued with the budget hack job motor stuck in rear with improper coolant/air flow/exhaust design. will eat pre cats, so delete that. i mean these have some REALL WELL KNOWN fail points.

every car sucks
every cars breaks
every car can be had cheaper.
blah blah blah.

:pussy:

but proceed have enjoy racing it.

dubshow's rule of values: everything that is for sale is 20% too high.
:dat:

i also buy cars in my own value and expect everyone to get consistent :unicorn: :dill:

Mostly because I too want a cheap ass tiny drop top with no power. Just can't have one right now.

It looks like a fun car. Would be a disaster as an only car. Overall a Miata is more usable, a Boxster maybe more special, but this is quite unique and is basically the cheapest to buy and own mid-rear vehicle on the market.
see, id agree with that. Im just here to play devils advocate to all the :jimp: :stig: bruhs than need to wipe the :jizz: of the DFD lounge floor.

I have a car problem. I want to own every car that has merit to owning. :like:

I dunno I think being supportive of a non catastrophic financial decision and to have someone have fun while racing is a nice thing. Doesn't mean we're all :jizz: 'ing about the car. It obviously has shortfalls just like anything else.

I mean, at the end of the day its a fully depreciated low power sports car that nobody aspires to own and wasn't the be-all-end-all when it was out new. But that makes it a perfect car to beat the ever loving shit out of on a daily basis. Which is what he plans on doing with it.

I think the FRZ will end up like these. They're great drivers that get shit on for being low on power. And they're depreciating as a result, and hard. In 5-8 more years a base FRS with like 120k on it will be a $6k car. And then it will be a glorious car to buy and wring out.

Apparently talking about the shortfalls of my own vehicle is supposed to make me "hate it" but I don't... :aintcare: it ain't a racekar. But I don't need a racekar in my life.

Would be a fun weekend. If not this fall, perhaps in the spring while it's still cold up here.

FWIW while this might not be full :alpo: :unicorn: :dill: status, it's the best of its kind that I've seen. For ES class (and STR), you want ONLY a 2003. 2000-2002 have the shitty piston/ring design that eats oil until it blows up and 2004-2005 have nearly an inch higher ride height plus 50-100 lbs of extra dead weight in chassis bracing that only really affects NVH. 2003 :manuel: with no rust, no mods, and a clean soft top is rare for <$8k. $5k with tax and not having to fly to CA or something is extremely rare.
