Those prices aren't too bad. Should give the GTI a run for its money. But keep in mind you need to add the $875 destination fee. Why don't manufacturers add this shit. You have to pay it, so fucking add it.
If I were shopping this segment I think I'd pick this over a GTI.

Si's do hold better value than GTI's, that's for sure, you still get 20k when its 30k miles, whereas with the GTI, SE model can hit $18k, that's $12k loss off msrp when it was new.

I dunno... Mk6s are still pretty expensive for what they are.
The issue with the GTI is... you get a 24k base model and it is 18k 4 years later. You get a 35k loaded version it is still 18k... Staying off the options is key, unless you go R.

Eh. Si gets 47 more horsepowers, LSD, better seats, better steering system, 2-mode dampers, better brakes that can handle aggressive driving, 235-section tires. Sounds pretty good for $6k.
