so i am looking at a thing. 1989 325i with a US s50 swap form 1995 m3. about 240-250hp with the obd1 motor.
also needs rear main seal. a zf transmission for longevity. A front wheel bearing. Tires. Wire clean up from swap. gauge cluster rebuild. Misc trim parts. Hood has big dent in edge.
Car was about 90% completed before scene kid got it. He hasnt really kept it up in the year of ownership and has no garage for it. He tried to daily drive the car and it got worse and worse. He paid $10k for it. The PO had about $18k tied into it.
Interior is pretty mint but is a 318 sport, no mostly vinyl, not leather seats.
Previous owner is helpful and local. He is currently chopping of a fairly clean mtech2 vert and doing a roll cage and LS1 swap.

Ive looked the car over pretty extensively. It still needs a good bit of small things which I have already fixed on my current e30.The car as many already know is s50 swapped with a getrag 250 trans.
Uuc stage 2 clutch and 8.5lbs flywheel
Catuned coilovers - fully adjustable
m42 rad with pusher fan on switch only
Staggered borbet type a (16x7.5)(16x9)
Kamotors flares
E36 325i rack swap
Custom exhaust with magnaflow mufflers
eBay headers
Rperformance ducktail spoiler
Mint interior with tinted windows (not sure of the percentage)
Has heat but no a/c I have about 98% of the parts to install the a/c just haven't had the time to do it.
As it sits right now it needs rear main seal, possible throwout bearing, front right wheel bearing, front alignment (drives wheel but the steering wheel is off a little bit), and new front tires.

How much is the e30?! If someone had the time and skills it has a lot of legwork done. But man that’s a lot of shit wrong with the car that had that much work done to it ... makes me question if that person knew what they were doing or if that kid just ragged it to shit
exactly... Car was really well off 1 year ago.max225 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2018 12:30 pm How much is the e30?! If someone had the time and skills it has a lot of legwork done. But the rear main leaking?? the motor swap supposedly had 70k miles on it. Seems odd. Im talking to the previous owner right now.
Kid is asking $8500 for car as is right now. And I looked it over for about 1.5 hours yesterday of some beers with him.

Haha, you seemed really reluctant. As much as you've put into it, I can't blame you. I wasn't going to press the issue, give you time to grieve.

I would man. I mean, this could push you over the top for the most selection at an illegal German Pick and Pull in a residential neighborhood. I think the winner gets a free cruise.dubshow wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2018 12:25 pm so i am looking at a thing. 1989 325i with a US s50 swap form 1995 m3. about 240-250hp with the obd1 motor.
