Our "friend" just got his 4th C7. Color looked pretty good in the pics. I honestly would just do a GS or a base model doe. I don't know what all that extra power is good for when you can't put it through the rear wheels.

Having driven many base C7's, I can't imagine wanting more power. You can barely use what's in the base cars, let alone a Z06 or ZR1. That's what makes the GS so compelling. Looks like a Z06. Gets standard MSRC, Dual mode exhaust (which is truly ), yet has ample usable power.
Fuk I want that thing.

Can't you get some baller lease at like $400 a month or something? that seems to be your ratio of price/amount paid. 5k miles a year is enough for you since you don't drive that much over there. I'd LOVE to lease this thing. I could do an ultra-low mile lease at 5k/year no problem.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 28, 2018 5:16 pmCan't you get some baller lease at like $400 a month or something? that seems to be your ratio of price/amount paid. 5k miles a year is enough for you since you don't drive that much over there. The issue is, all the bonus cash goes away for a lease. It's only for purchase, and that screws me. I doubt I could lease this for under $600/mo.

Wouldn't hurt to ask if he meant $1850 and not $18500 since the latter gets you a new one that is better in every way and doesn't smell like crayons.razr390 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 28, 2018 5:57 pm $18,500 for a MK4 GLI.

Right, so replacing the $20k vette with a $60k one is even more
I can't drive a new Corvette year-round. And I really don't want to go back to driving a beater in the winter.

Plus, it would probably be a $700/mo lease. Uhhh, no.

Or ultimate our total household commuting fuel bills drop to $0. Probably a $100/mo savings.

I thought we went over this...
She did take the truck due to blowouts, but at the same time I got a new job where I have free EV parking. She doesn't have free EV parking anymore. So I willfully traded with her for
Now that we'll carpool, we can cut our monthly gas expenditure to next to nothing if we just drive the Volt together.

Yea...we did it before. There were some days where it got a bit old...but those days I'd just invent an "early meeting" so we drive separately. We'll probably carpool 3-4 days/week realistically. It's great for the savings, and we get along so well
