Both the A3 and the TT came like that. Solid car, I bet the A3's in particular are cheap now.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 1:31 pmDoesn’t earlier audi a3 has a 3.2 and a dsg/stronic? Essentially an r32 with a badgeJohnny_P wrote:

Yep. They're also styled after a loaf of bread. But yeah they're basically the same as an R32.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 1:31 pmDoesn’t earlier audi a3 has a 3.2 and a dsg/stronic? Essentially an r32 with a badgeJohnny_P wrote:

I've been seeing a few FJ Cruisers around lately and I have teh wants.
Forumbreh's say the frames are made in a different location than the Taco/Tundra ones so rusting shouldn't be nearly as bad of an issue.

Bruh I don’t know why you keep calling it tractor ... turbo engine that makes over 100hp per liter and grenades before 100k is nothing like a tractor motorJohnny_P wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 1:10 pm Guise. My tractor motor turns 15 this year
Next year it'll be old enough to drive itself

I dunno.. I've had exactly 2 experiences with people I know that bought these when new. Both were not favorable when they got miles on them. One in particular was a complete POS and sounded like a bucket of bolts when I drove it from Tahoe to San Jose and had really bad steering, felt like a marshmallow was connecting the steering wheel to the rack. That thing had 60K miles on it and was worse than my old '67 Mustang with super-vague power steering.Apex wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 9:04 am[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 12:04 am

I honestly thought this was the reason they quit making them. Plus, is up with that used one... asking price is basically MSRP..Apex wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 9:23 amThat's to hear about a Toyota.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 9:10 am

Low mileage ones are commanding huge premiums. Maybe because they aren't making them anymore?CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 9:34 amI honestly thought this was the reason they quit making them. Plus, is up with that used one... asking price is basically MSRP..

The fender apron is breaking in half in those pics? I'm not even sure what forces would cause that to happen.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 9:40 amYeah. Limited supply.
Also, I've seen this issue with the FJs:
Only fix is to either replace the whole fender apron or brace it before it happens:

I can't get aboard the FJ train. Gigantic blind spots and a super cheap interior are the initial hits against it, the steering, ride, and handling would be the next. I see no reason to get this over a 4Runner in the Toyota lineup.

Ah, lame. Isn't that what a FJ is supposed to be driving on? what the Yota engineers were thinking there...[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 9:47 amPoor vibrational stress management.
Happens on FJs that see a lot of rough pavement or fireroads.

Just got this sent to me.

Chevrolet said Wednesday that the new, 2019 Corvette ZR1 — at 755 horsepower, the most powerful ‘Vette ever produced — shattered the Virginia International Speedway record just days after Ford’s GT supercar became the first car to record a sub-2 minute, 40 second lap around “America’s Nürburgring.”
King ZR1 posted a jaw-dropping 2.37.3 time — over a second under the 2.38.6 lap record announced by Ford just last week.
Ford’s GT time, in turn, had bested the Dodge Viper ACR’s 2.40.0 time — one of 13 American race track lap records the Snake set in 2015 before the car was retired from production last year.
