Goes on to mention a few other things like 450 watt stereo standard, apple car play and android auto standard, and a bunch of safety shit nobody cares about.

Under 3k lbs on 235 tires. 205 HP with the :jalepenis: turbo. Helical LSD / 6MT. 2-mode dampers.

Those prices aren't too bad. Should give the GTI a run for its money. But keep in mind you need to add the $875 destination fee. Why don't manufacturers add this shit. You have to pay it, so fucking add it.

If I were shopping this segment I think I'd pick this over a GTI.
Of course YOU would ;)

$24,100 if you want real tires. + $875 destination. It's a $25k car. That's not a bad thing though, and I think it's priced well. It's always undercut the GTI and the competition by a few grand. Should retain value a lot better too.
Si's do hold better value than GTI's, that's for sure, you still get 20k when its 30k miles, whereas with the GTI, SE model can hit $18k, that's $12k loss off msrp when it was new.

Except the SE's had 5k-7k on the hood if you played your cards right.

I dunno... Mk6s are still pretty expensive for what they are.
The issue with the GTI is... you get a 24k base model and it is 18k 4 years later. You get a 35k loaded version it is still 18k... Staying off the options is key, unless you go R.

Eh. Si gets 47 more horsepowers, LSD, better seats, better steering system, 2-mode dampers, better brakes that can handle aggressive driving, 235-section tires. Sounds pretty good for $6k. Also, it'll have better resale than a :manuel: base model will, so that $6k might decrease to $2-4k realized cost.

That's the Max Price Creep Syndrome :doe:

For "only $5k more" you can always get something better... $5k more than the Si you can get en ecoboost performance pack mustang with RWD, 300 hp, 255 tires, even better brakes, even better seats.

Only $5k more than that you can get a V8 mustang

Only $5k more than that you can get a Camero SS

Only $5k more than that you can get a loaded 1LE

Only $5k more than that you can get a GT350

....

Just buy a McLaren.

I think the Si represents a great value in fun shit cars. Every one is MT meaning anyone looking for it is looking for a manual. Nobody buying a basic bitch Civic is looking for MT and resale reflects that.

But. It would be an interesting comparison to determine which is more fun for the dollar. Revvy K20 vs :jalepenis: 1.5T Fit engine.

The coupe's is only moderately ridiculous, and the sedan's is not at all.
