It has got to be. there's no reason for the truck to be that wide...completely defeats the purpose of the midsizer.
Though, those fenders are quite flared compared to stock...it's possible it's a legit wide betch.

Look at how the fenders and flares stick out...it's possible that it's pushing 75" of overall width.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2018 10:27 am
Did some more digging on width:
Track width is 3" wider than standard Ranger, total track width is 67.3, sans mirrors. Source: TFLTruck.com - https://www.tfltruck.com/2018/02/2019-f ... -official/
For comparison purposes:
F-150 Raptor: 73.9"
Colorado ZR2: 65.9"
TRD Pro Taco: 64.2"
Pro-4X Frontier: 61.8"

Oh wow, the idiocy is spreading. Should have rammed that shit in an SUV ZFG.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2018 10:58 amSo wasteful. We are such morans.Detroit wrote:

Man, I really wish I had an SUV to jam this thing into. Bust up some interior panels, rip the carpet, and drive home with the tailgate flapping the breeze. What a worthless thing I have.

Right? I'm really surprised Toyota isn't trying a bit harder...especially with Ranger and Jeep coming fast. Their dominance of the segment will end faster than they expect.

You probably know better than me but isn’t the average taco buyer different from the average F150 buyer they won’t even cross shop the brands even.
People are generally brand loyal in pickup segments...but with these radical new entries increasing and Toyota doing nothing really, it's going to make even loyalists start to look around a bit. They've dominated for so long because they were the only solid game in town. That's not the case anymore. Other companies are making some fantastic products that rival and in many ways beat the Taco.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2018 11:54 amYou probably know better than me but isn’t the average taco buyer different from the average F150 buyer they won’t even cross shop the brands even.
It seems that once someone is doing tacos that’s all they’ll do till the end of time. Super high brand loyalty there.
Also I still disagree with whole taco is shit mentality. It had some minor issues at the beginning but it seems to be doing just fine, and ppl like em.

I dunno I think that 5 speed auto is outdated for 2018. I think the 3.6 Penta +8ZF is the perfect blend of old and new. No, DI, no fancy valve bullshit that does nothing, no slushbox holding it back. that combo will run forever and return the same MPG as a 2.0 turbo that will grenade well before 100k and require premium.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2018 12:53 pmIt even outdates the Bro Forks in powertrain dinosaur-ness.
