H2's still $20,000.
Many dangs, but, after all it's the King of the SUV's.

Tie rods were a known weakness. They sat too low and were easy to make contact with rocks.
Other than that, they were insanely capable for the size.

Their whole business model seems to be built on a reputation of reliability, durability, ease of use and moderate price points. Innovation was never their forte. I am frankly shocked they made the Prius, it still reigns supreme in hybrid land.
But they have yet to make a decent electric car which is

They could really get mowed over in the mid truck market. The recent Tacoma has had a number of reliability issues, and being the most minimal refresh possible, it's really not that innovative anymore. With Ranger, Jeep, maybe even MB getting into the space, they're going to need to up the game. Resting on the brand laurels will only get them so far.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2018 6:33 pmTheir whole business model seems to be built on a reputation of reliability, durability, ease of use and moderate price points. They are going to jump in. They have EV Ravs and have been experimenting with the tech forever.max225 wrote:Their whole business model seems to be built on a reputation of reliability, durability, ease of use and moderate price points. They had a record breaking Jan i both taco and tundra sales, I think they are topped out production wise anyways so they about that... the field is way too competitive as is, with the future offerings you mentioned.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2018 6:49 pmThey could really get mowed over in the mid truck market. This doesn't sound like a failure to me when their "old useless truk" outsold their brand new redesigned camry in terms of % growth.
Camry sales were up 21.3 percent
TMNA, Toyota and Lexus divisions post best-ever light truck sales
Toyota division SUV posts 56,933 units
RAV4 sales of 26,655 units, a best-ever month
4Runner sales were up 11.2 percent, a best-ever month
Highlander sales of 15,484 units, a best-ever month
Toyota division pickups up 27.3 percent
Tacoma up 33.6 percent
Tundra posted sales of 7,644 units, up 15.3 percent

Everyone with a is breaking sales records. Has nothing to do with the product quality.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2018 7:03 pmThey had a record breaking Jan i both taco and tundra sales, I think they are topped out production wise anyways so they about that... the field is way too competitive as is, with the future offerings you mentioned.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2018 6:49 pm
