It was lifted on 33's and went everywhere the other trucks did. Had trouble on some rock climbs without the front locker, but overall a surprisingly capable truck.

Rough Country IIRC. The dude liked it well enough, he actually bought it from the :dillerman: with the lift already on it.

As the aftermarket continues to develop, I'd probably look for something higher end if I was lifting a Z71.

BDS has caught my eye for a few years down the road.

Exactly. Would absolutely go with a BDS lift over a Rough Country. Pricier, but better quality. Especially for a DD rig that sees salt in the winter, I'd want top-notch components.

But really, unless you're doing crazy stuff, find some Duratrac take-offs and just roll those on stock suspension with maybe a spacer in the front for a bit more ground clearance. They'll get you into plenty of fun.

There will also be ZR2 skid plates available as an accessory for Z71 trucks shortly, add those and have fun wheeling ZFG.

Exactly :dat:
If it were a simple spacer I might think different. But full lift kit? I need some piece of mind for my DD.

Yea, spacers are ZFG.

I wish body lifts weren't so involved. I'd go that route in a heartbeat, personally.

UHaul wouldn't have even rented you the trailer if you showed up with a :turboyaris: (I tried before).

Yeah... moving and stuff before I can swap the rear bow tie. Will be rectified in the near future.
