It's styling is somewhat feminine and most drivers are women. I dunno... It's just a tough one to get behind.
A Wrangler is Cool and JGC is Mall status... it may be a better vehicle but it has no "soul" BRO!
I can't spell bro

All this.
I like the one with the blacked out badges. It looks neat. The others look like mom cars doe.
2 door wrangler would be fun to own if it could carry anything.

JGCs aren't that cheap either btw... they keep raising the MSRP so 2013+ models with the 8 speed auto and nice new dash are hovering in the 30s still with under 40k miles. If you were to get a niceish limited with 8" JEWconnect

Dude, I saw all those articles, which are based on a single FCA document, which must be typo. Ain't nobody putting a 184hp/liter 4 cylinder in a mass production vehicle. I'm voting for 268 hp.
thats a fucking crazy expectation from 2 liters. I mean ford got a respectable 310hp out of 2.3
It would be overboosted to inches of life. IMO i simply would trust a FCA with that kind of output from their 4 banger tech.
edit:
yeah, ill stick firmly in skeptic camp on that too. vw been in the direct injection tubro game the longest. They can get to about 300hp mark comfortablely. Now for FCA to walk in and set nuts on table and say that power is going in is off road lifted spongey wranGAYler....Others are already reporting that they’ve heard the rumor is false, but when we reached out to FCA for a comment, the spokesperson couldn’t say anything either way. At this point, consider us skeptical. Very skeptical. Even if the documents are the actual ones that were submitted to NHTSA, the horsepower figure for the 2.0-liter could still be a typo. But if it did end up being true, we’d be completely OK with that.
After all, more power is, well, more.
aint gonna happen. the jeep communitiy would set shit on fire. Thats just some fan boi dick beating.
now that lebanon group, they doing gods work.

I wouldn't want a 2.0T engine boosted to the edge of its life in an off road machine. That is fucking stupid and makes zero sense.
200-260 HP or so, somewhere in that range, would be plenty. And even then it's a proposition, as the added complexity and inherently lower reliability won't be a benefit on a backcountry trail.

Wards was impressed enough to give it a 10 best engine trophy. This year, socket wrenches in hand, the Volvo powertrain team ratchets up the excitement with another stupendous version of the 2.0L turbo/supercharged I-4 that delivers the highest specific output this competition has ever seen: 184 hp per liter.

I was just pointing out that someone (other than FCA) HAS put out a 184hp/L 4 cyl engine in a (somewhat) mass production vehicle.
