What UPS really needs are local delivery trucks on electric. I imagine their fuel costs are astronomical for the little piddly bs short trips these trucks endure, especially with starting and stopping the diesel engines so often.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2017 2:12 pm https://www.cnbc.com/2017/12/19/ups-res ... -date.html

They are a rather large company that supply cleaning agents, uniforms, TP, rugs for restaurants and industrial facilities. A lot of their trucks are hybrids but they all break so they just run on only gas. kinda sad/funny but whatcha gonna do? Since they had such a poor experience with hybrids in the past it might be a while before they try again.
We keep shutting down electrical power plants and building more houses. It'll be interesting to see what happens in 15 years or even ten.
No new housing without solar. I think its a great idea.

It means have you ever been in one, spent some actual time driving one, seen it up close in detail in person, etc.[user not found] wrote: ↑Sun Dec 24, 2017 9:12 amWhat does this comment even mean?Dbest wrote:Do any of you guys have actual first hand experience with a Tesla?
While quality testing we have comparison tests where we buy a few different competitor vehicles to compare. Back to back same route data logged test drives, fit and finish, quality comparison, wear and tear comparison, quality over time, etc. I have a bunch of time with a model S. Leaving my thoughts out of it I’m just curious to hear any first hand feedback from others to see what they thought.

Shitty cars. Ellon musk is a Tucker type ponzi scheme con artist. Fake news.Tesla earned a rating of 90 on the Consumer Reports survey -- slightly lower than its 91 rating last year -- while Porsche scored an 85. In third place, Hyundai's luxury Genesis marque earned a score of 81. Fiat Chrysler's Chrysler had the highest rating of any American brand other than Tesla, coming in fourth with a 78.
