Why should he be the only one that shows up to work if everyone else calls out?

It's kind of an underlying theme of the entire forum, really.

I don't know. I mean, I certainly believe you know what it is, and I believe that everyone you know knows what it is, but I also can believe that there are some s out there who are completely about how the world works.

I know a number of people that know what a credit score is, but have no clue how it's calculated and how to make it good. They just roll through life YOLO paycheck to paycheck. One dude thinks he knows and has spent thousands on debt consolidation and other such schemes only to see no change in his score which results in and ultimately YOLO. Another dude completely ignores it then goes all when he can't get a mortgage or a car loan, etc.
In fact, of my friend base, I'd say financial stability and credit worthiness is only a factor for maybe half of them. I don't have THAT many friends, doe...so my sample is skewed. Also, most are and think financial stuff is

Don't think about it much, don't do anything special, it was around 800 by age 25. It's as simple as "pay your bills" and you're good.

As do I. I haven't checked it in maybe a year. And even then, I just check to make sure there aren't shady things on it indicating stolen identity.[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2017 7:57 amI totally ignore my credit score as well BUT do things like repay on time and don't max out because I am an adult.Detroit wrote:I know a number of people that know what a credit score is, but have no clue how it's calculated and how to make it good. But really...pay your bills. Don't buy things you can't afford. It's that simple.

Same. Recently Chase offered a monthy crebitz score feature for card holders so I know mine now. 830 last month. Prior to that the last time I had it checked was when we last refinanced casa WAP almost 7 years ago.[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2017 7:57 amI totally ignore my credit score as well BUT do things like repay on time and don't max out because I am an adult.Detroit wrote:I know a number of people that know what a credit score is, but have no clue how it's calculated and how to make it good.
