That would be a total waste of money.
Probably, but friends took their then 20 month old to Greece. He was a good traveler overall, but it was challenging.
If you don't have another option that's fine but your kid really isn't going to get much out of it until they are.....12? Under 2 years means sit on the lap/no airfare/infuriate :mahtroy: on his way to Paris with your crotchfruit.

Pressurizing some infants ears who doesn't understand anything is no good for the infant nor your fellow cabinmates. Travel by car or stay home when your child is very young IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

Agreed in general however I'd say a child under 12 can successfully do Europe. I first went when I was 9 and still remember a LOT. My nephew and niece were 4 and 6 when they Europed the first time 8 years ago and they still remember much. I'd say 5-7 is probably an optimal starting age, but of course it would depend on the :crotchfruit: , too.

He would be fine, but certainly more fun without him for another few years.
For sure.

This is purely anecdotal, but we met this French family in Hawaii and they said the South of France blows in comparison and never to go :iono:

Paris had ancient rooms and was a bit stressful at times. Getting away from it was awesome. Stopped along the way and stayed at vineyard b&b's/hotels which offered a nice combo of tranquility and :drunk: which turned into :dock:

The South was also 5/7 as we hopped trains from city to city and stayed a few days in each place to sight see and eat, swim and just chill.

Everywhere had :amaze: food and people but Menton was best for both in my experience. If i needed to pick one place in France to live that would be it.

Well it entirely depends on what you're looking for. You don't go the Southern Europe for a tropical experience. You go for culture, food, beaches, history, wine, a non-Murican experience.

Go to Romania (maybe not the whole trip, but a quick shot there). Bran Castle (Count Dracula), the Transfagarasean road, etc.

And probably 50 times better.

Absolutely, lot cleaner, healthier, less of the corn syrup bullshit. Even the mcdonalds in Turkey and Europe tastes much cleaner too.

If I get my own car in Turkey, like a Seat Leon FR or other GTI competitors, I might consider driving up to that road. About a 10 hour drive from Istanbul. Probably venture parts of Bulgaria too.
