STI was glorious this morning. So boosty. Much rumbl. Very wow.
Because it'll melt.

Car is 12 years old - rust protection is seriously diminished and I'd like to savor it for a while.

According to my subie service lady the electric power steering system never needs to be serviced in my car. And the trans is sealed and good for life of the car.

I'm legit worried about rodent tenants. Supposedly they HATE drier sheets, so I've been putting them all over the interior for years and have yet to run into anything unwanted. I'm more worried about them camping up in the engine compartment, chewing wiring, etc.

Still, to get the condensation out of the engine, you really need to let it get up to operating temp for at least 20 min. I don't really want to drive the car that much, so it continues to sit. We'll see what the situation is in a few months.
I had it idling for 10 - then did a few laps around the block, then went up and down the road down the street and did a couple 2nd gear pulls. Dat boost weather doe.

Also, dryer sheets... good idea.
Only thing about dryer sheets is the car smells like fresh laundry for a good month after winter. Not really a problem since it smells fresh, just a bit unique.

Whenever someone gets in the car they :wtf: "why does it smell like I'm sitting in a clothes dryer?"

:lolol:

I'll have to find some pine-scented dryer sheets.
I've tried a number of different scents through the years, they all end up smelling the same for some reason.

I like to change the trans oil out every 36k or immediately after purchasing a pre-owned car.
10 year service interval for me then :impressive:

Assuming the work being done is within the design intent, then yes.

Generally speaking, these thing: live within those parameters just fine.
