My dad works for the Army Core of Engineers, and I'm not even allowed to get out of the damn car when I go on base with him. It's nuts, but I kind of understand the regulations.

The problem I see with that is that around here it winds up being a door to door sales situation. At least once a week I come home to a solar flyer on my door, or someone ringing the doorbell.[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2017 7:56 amGreat idea. That's the future.D Griff wrote:
Interesting you say this, I need to do more research but have thought that working for a solar /wind power type manufacturer could be pretty cool.

Oh yeah, I'd have to be extremely desperate to do something like that... But I'm sure there's a B2B side, sell it to contractors, design firms, .gov.fledonfoot wrote:The problem I see with that is that around here it winds up being a door to door sales situation. I don't think I can ever be "sold a car" just by walking into a dealership. I know what I'm looking for and know a price point. The same way advertisements and commercials don't do anything for me.
Good points, Zach. I agree with all of that. I am continually growing less and less comfortable with the amount of waste... The fact that the POTUS is promoting coal power is fucking
It would be cool to harness that into a career somehow, definitely something I've been thinking about.
As it is, I drive a wasteful 7 mpg and eat wasteful food in styrofoam containers every day

Industrial sales is much easier than retail, IMO. You're generally dealing with a more knowledgeable clientele than general retail s. And you tend to have a smaller, repeating customer base.[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2017 7:56 amB2B sales in general I would suggest. suggested security sales.
The life is burning me up right now.
Though, I've never worked any sort of retail sales jerb so I may be full of
