People may think they're trolling, but that's how it comes off.

We've had people out or refuse to post on here several times now because the strong opinions of few are tarnishing the experience of many. I think it's something worth being said. I enjoy the shenanigans this forum brings, and I'd like to keep it going for many years, with the full crew intact.

I've been a very positive minded person for most of my adult life. For various reasons, 2017 has been a "year of negativity" for me. The world has been a bit of a scary place with natural disasters, impending doom in the political world, violence, all of that. There have been some challenges in the personal life too. I also spend a fair amount of time on this forum, and there tends to be a lot of negativity floating around here.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2017 11:24 am FWIW, maybe there needs to be a little less of the opinionated hate around here.

I think you make a good point. I don't want to leave DFD, as I think it's a fun place and a great group of people, whom I consider real friends. That said, sometimes I come in here and leave feeling like doomsday is on the way. There's bashing of each other, talk of how the world is going to shit, discussion of cars being a terrible thing of the past despite the fact that they're what brought us all together in the first place.
I'm on board to try to add some positivity to this place, thank you for suggesting it.

A thick skin and a attitude is a good thing to develop.
We're all just humans on the internet. At the end of the day, what anyone else thinks about whatever choices you make, what you spend, what you like to do with your sheckels and free time. Your happiness is not dependent on anyone else's opinion. Let me say that again. Your happiness is not dependent on anyone else's opinion. It's fine to seek (or give) an opinion, but it's up to you to decide what, if anything, you do with it.
Peace and love, brothers and sisters. Peace and love.

We've been watching it, too. It's . I like that it doesn't take itself too seriously, while sometimes touching on serious subjects, like the gender identity episode.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Thu Oct 19, 2017 11:50 amwho you calling an idiot

Unnecessary baiting is unnecessary.
