Dinner and desert was 5/7 tonight. Zilch made pork chops on the big green egg, he will have to provide the details.
I followed it up with homemade strawberry shortcake with cast skillet shortcake and homemade whipped cream.

Made some Cajun shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. It could use a bit more heat. I dialed it back because last time it was ripping the paint from the walls.

Thank you. I need to work on my sauce. It seems to always gets a bit too thick. Once I get my spice level and sauce sorted it will get added to the Barnes cookbook.Sno wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2017 8:00 pmThat looks delicious!Barnes93cb wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2017 7:34 pm Made some Cajun shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. Just add some more liquid. Coconut milk, regular milk.

I ended up adding more milk. Its simple enough to fix. But I am trying to get everything measured out for our cook book.Calvinball wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2017 11:12 pmJust add some more liquid. Coconut milk, regular milk.Barnes93cb wrote:

This is cheating, I didn't "make" it, but I cooked it.
Papa whoever take and bake put on the big green egg. This was it almost done:
These pizzas actually taste really good when cooked on the stone in the BBQ. I won't touch them if they are just cooked in an oven though and will go Round Table every time in that case. Using the corn meal to get it on/off the peel and stone give it an extra flavor too, which I think helps.

Made these yesterday, spinach balls. Mom's recipe. Tasty way to get some of that green in the diet. Egg replacer worked pretty well also. Stuffing mix, lot of butter, onion, spices. Yum.

Looks great. I love spinach. I love brussel sprouts. My wife says I am weird, but I like just about any veggie, and she hates just about all of them.
I have gotten her to come around on asparagus when I grill it with steaks though.

Offhand I can't think of a veggie I won't eat.
