A whole lot of going on in the Apex corner today.
Wifey's Grand Cherokee is getting an Old Man Emu lift with JBA upper control arms, and the OEM trailer hitch setup with wiring.

I've been eyeing that watch for a while.[user not found] wrote: ↑Sun Mar 18, 2018 8:26 pm Got myself a smart watch (Fossil Explorist Q) I like it.
Already have an Apple Watch, but like the look of the Explorist more. Especially that brown and blue one.

Got a new lens today. Nikon AF-S 200-500 VR.
I ordered a new collar/foot combo from Kirk that has a proper Arca plate on it to attach to my ball head since the RRS adapters are out of stock.
Going to take this one to Hawaii for some shots of surfers and boats, hopefully. The extra reach over my 70-200 is nice, but it takes a very steady hand to get crisp shots at 500mm.

I bought a entry level DSLR (60D) years ago and got overwhelmed by the options. I tend to get paralyzed by the fact that everything won't be perfect the first time I do it and then give up. I'll get obsessed with something and watch 100 YouTube videos and expect to remember how to do it all.
I forget that it's supposed to be an enjoyable activity.

I'm far from an expert, or even a consistent "OK" and I have been using SLRs and DSLRs since the 80's. If I do my part and spend some time being aware of what I'm doing I can get lucky and can get some good shots. If I don't take the time though I get something from complete shit to mostly shit.
I am okay at figuring out metering and using manual mode for a decent exposure, again..... when I give enough of a crap to do it.

Always wanted a drone and I can’t compromise on anything that’s not a DJI. This one was $349 and a free $50 gift card promotion from Target which ended at midnight. So $300 for a $500 drone. Got it and I’m going to see what i can do with it. Sort of like a hobby. I have 30 days to return it if I don’t like it.

I bought hair combs(haven’t owned one in years), cocoanut oil for my stretch marks and hair, insoles for my boots to help with my shin/calf pain, pilot g2 pens, and some coffee body scrub.

PRO TIP do not fly DJI Spark in Sport mode indoors. Motherfucker hit the wall at 31mph. Lost 3 of the 4 propellers. Everything else seems fine,
