Wowza, cool space!Sno wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2017 8:06 pmVery loftish. We call it the Loft for short, Factory 12 Event Loft for long and yes, I know the website needs work. We are still very much in transition.Desertbreh wrote:
Just for weddings or open for all other manner of questionable choices? Deets on the venue, looks loftish?
Industrial space, it's on the second floor of an old sewing factory built in the early 1900s in downtown Columbus. The space seats up to 500 and we have a few accessory spaces, as well. Can handle just about anything including weddings, corporate Cummins events, fundraising galas, etc. We have major plans for a rooftop garden along with painting the majority of the space white. (The wedding industry will see the end of deep dark industrial weddings in 2019, we'll be back to bright and airy.)
It was an event venue prior to us and management ran it into the ground, the space wasn't booking anymore because the communication reputation was so terrible. It has serious potential and we're excited to book it every weekend with weddings and fill the weekdays with corporate needs.

Looking as though the Tucson condo has enough value to list FS where it might actually sell for break-even point. Good news. Hope the fucking lynch pin sells...

Got my raise yesterday, which was pretty surprising as I was currently making what my company says is 158% of market average. I expected nothing but was pleasantly surprised with a 9.5% raise!
Also bailing out on Tuesday for the rest of the week to go see The Scorpions with Megadeth on Tuesday and Weezer on Thursday in Reno. Going to spend some time after that and drive to Boise to look at property.

There's a few shows coming to Nola that I'm anxious to see in the next few months. I missed the Corey Feldman shit show last time but I think it's coming around again.

I may subject to a possibility to actually heading to London for almost a week for work later in this season, though i will book my flight on friday, so i can have the weekend to explore London and being a tourist. It may not be how i envisioned, cause i do plan on renting a car for the time being so i can visit british country side one day, probably seaside and stonehedge. But it is for work and will go with boss, and possibly couple more people. We'll see
