Realistically closer to half that, average course seems to be 30-some seconds long.

Put 60 or so miles on the RE71Rs at 28F on damp-ish roads on the way to hockey and back. They feel fine, quite a bit more civilized than I expected actually... Just driving around like a normal person there are no NVH issues or other annoying behavior like you get with some "race" tires like the Rival-S. These will do just fine for 3 season DD+autox use.

The car also pulls a lot harder now with the lighter+smaller wheels. I'm guessing that the ECU needed some miles to adapt after the tune-up as well. It feels pretty quick now. Not fast, but it's gotta be down in the mid 5.x 0-60 range which is plenty to be fun.

The TPMS thing is lame. I haven't had working TPMS in my :poorvette: since a month after I bought it and one crapped out. Then the entire system went :nope:

At least in the :poorvette: it shows air pressure on the cluster, so there's some value there. If it's just a :derp: light, I'd probably look into pulling the bulb or something.

So glad my jizzmobile doesn't have it.
How doesn't it? I thought TPMS was a requirement?

Or does is just have wheel speed sensors?

2006 dude. TPMS wasn't required back then. The car has it, but it's wheel speed based, so it's pretty :aintcare:
OH, I thought you meant your truck didn't have it. Derp.

I like the ones that are based on wheel speed, that's how the Vibe and the mazderp3 hatch systems work. That's all you need to see if anything's out of whack, not expensive additional sensors inside the damn wheel...

Simple and utilizes systems already in place.
Less accurate. It's nice to keep an eye on tar pressures.
That being said, the C5 race wheels don't have sensors, I just ignore the warning on the dash.

Worst of both worlds, expensive ass sensors that don't even tell you where your issue lies or how much air you got.

I don't disagree - but mah :truk: has those stupid sensors and I don't even have a pressure readout. Annoying.
GM has always given individual wheel readings, it's handy.
I can check them from the GMC ap on my phone.

Hold on, let me check.

I'm fine with an idiot light for this application, especially when it saves $250+ per set of :ramz:

It was a good move when VW "downgraded" theirs on the :turboyaris: for 2011.

I lost this because I refuse to pay for OnStar.

I check my pressures on every drive...sitting at a red light, flip to the screen on the dash, done. It's really nice.
