Massive improvement, satisfactory for 99% of ROW.

Clean lights
Tape around them
Do 6-10 passes with 500 grit discs, cleaning both the disc and the lens at least twice per pass
Do the same with 800 grit
Do the same with 3000 grit wetsanding
Do the same with polishing compound
Do the same with finer polishing compound
Apply a few coats of supposedly uv-protective wax

Re-do the tape a couple of times in there too as the edges of the sanding discs are good at eating away at it.

5 minutes my fucking ass.

I suppose you missed my toothpaste and rug comment. Were these that bad? Normally that yellow haze is fairly easily removed with some elbow grease.

They were pretty fucked up. I couldn't have lived with them for more than week. Yellowed headlights are :triggered: :triggered: for me.

I had other priorities, but it's been bugging me since I got the car.

There are actually a bunch of small cracks in the driver's light that are not fixable, probably from fucking :truk: drivers spitting rocks from the left shoulder because they can't keep their behemoths in the god damn lane... This $15 resto kit is good enough, but they'll need to be replaced if I ever go :fullretard: and try to make the car look properly nice.

That's just the DD wheels vs autox wheels. I'm too :scrooge: to spend $2000 on matching :ramz: for autox, but I do plan to refinish the gunmetal fronts in silver to at least kind of match the rears for next year. I might paint the brake calipers while I'm at it, I feel like making them red would add a needed touch of color to the grayscale car. Maybe go clear corner on the front marker light lenses while I'm at it, the orange sticks out a bit.

If you paint them, go purple to match the lugnuts.

Looks 100x better with clear lights vs the JDM yellow you had on there.

Won our "post season challenge" which finished yesterday. It's a PAX-based tournament style competition over the final 3 events of the year. Seeding is determined by the first 2 events, then it's single elimination during each round of runs at the final event. I beat the local pro (who has won nationals) by like .08s. :stig:Image

For autox, you've got a great setup. Glad the auto C5 base didn't trump the poorlise
