TY. Found a craiglist bro that seems to be slinging these tires for $280 a set... he said contact him friday... he should "have what I need"[user not found] wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2018 3:14 pmYou'll need to buy either exactly was on the car when it was leased, or a comparable BMW-approved RFT, if the car was equipped with RFTs. And all 4 tires need to match in brand/model.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2018 2:54 pm
hey quick question... so for whatever reason the S001s are odd tires, they wear on the sides a bit first and the middle is still good.
I have 3/32s on the sides and 7/32nds in the middle, no where near the wear bars but I think BMW will want to rape me to the tune of $300 a tire.
1. Do I need to buy RFTs ? Or can I just get the correct size?
2. Do i need to buy OEM/matching tires? or can they match in a set of 2?
Easy way to tell:

I did. Took a few hundred photos. Not sure if I'll take the time to host them to post them here.

I've been to Germany. I don't need 6 shots of the town square in Koblenz. Anything involving cars, motorcycles, airplanes, world wars, or you and or/Michelle after too many Berliner Kindl's would be doe.

The photos we took at Dachau are pretty...something. That was an experience.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2018 4:58 pmI've been to Germany. I don't need 6 shots of the town square in Koblenz. Also some solid castle photos.
I am not aware of this Berliner Kindl. But, we were only in the south (no farther north than Frankfurt), so maybe it wasn't a thing where we were. Overall, I was pretty in the beer. It all tasted the same...from Frankfurt to Stuttgart to Munich and Nurnberg. I enjoyed glühwein far more.
The food was beyond epic, doe. I had pork knuckle in Frankfurt that was 5/7 like nothing I've had before.

Talking about your car's motherland, doe?
We did go to the BMW museum in Munich. That was 5/7. Elvis's 507 was on display. An epically gorgeous car.

Yeah, bru. Talking about Germany in a thread that starts with the word "German" is about as on-topic as you're going to get on this forum.

Sounds like the took off both "door panels and inspected" the mechanisms... however now it seems to work fine. it doesn't seem sluggish anymore. And of course I look like in front of the service advisor.
Also this time they wrote down the tires as 5/32 up front and 4/32 in rear. Last time it was 3/32 and the service advisor measured "3/32" this AM. Fucking fucks. I don't want to pay for tires...

I am just saying they can't give me a reliable read on my tire depth, how hard can it be. If I am at 4/32nd i won't dick with it. But if they claim I am under I'll have to pay $300 per tire which is a bigDesertbreh wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2018 7:35 pmStop driving like an asshat.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2018 7:27 pm
