I rode it around in the lot and the trail head. It was so comfy.

Tarz are solid. The traction difference is very noticeable but it still seems to roll well. Only issue is there's a bit rub on the fork under hard braking and cornering. I'll try bumping up pressure to 35 next ride.

Just ride. Bumping the pressure up will just defeat the purpose of the :fatty: tires.
Yeah I would not up the pressure. F it. Eventually the tire will wear down a bit on those knobs and :aintcare:

I don't think so. It is quick release. I just hear a quick fart noise when I quickly turn left or right or pull hard on the front brake.

Anyone ride this weekend? I did a quick rip up to the Wiss, a little bit of singletrack and then Forbidden Drive, and back on the Manayunk towpath. Not sure on mileage, maybe 25-30? :iono:

Was like riding through hot soup. It was so humid and disgusting yesterday.

I went out to clayton and did a couple of hill repeats. Trails were super crowded and it wasn't enjoyable so I turned around and went home.

I've been nursing a super dry, lingering cough for the last few weeks that just won't go away. Chest is tight. I had bronchitis in May and it's just not cleared up since then.

Aside from the past 2 days, it's been pretty dry. Get thee to a doctor for some antibiotics before you leave.
I was on meds when I had bronchitis and it still hasn't cleared up.

Anyone have any experience with Project321 hubs? Made in USA and apparently have a "quiet" pawl option with magnets instead of springs. Can be upgraded to alternate axles for a small price. Debating these with Nox carbon rims. Should be in the same ballpark cost wise as the custom build quote I got on WTB aluminum rims and DT350 hubs.

:iono:

Loud hubs don’t bother me on a MTB. I also don’t run a bell.
I don't yet have a bell on the cross bike. I need to get one.
I hate loud hubs so much. I9s sound like ass to me. So do loud kings but they can be quieted with a change in oil. Whites can be quiet, and all Shimano hubs make a really nice subdued click.

Colorado cyclist has Nox / Project321 custom rams at a nice price rn. Like $1100 a pair. Not bad for china crabon backed by a US company and US made hubs with quiet option.

That's a pretty cool hardtail. Medium might be too small for me.

I'm waiting for end of season :dill: with the LBSs for now...
