Apparently there is a flatbrimmer at Competitive Cyclist who is now my own personal gearhead to assist me with purchases due to my outstanding account with them. :notbad:

I can put away 2 burgers from MacDoe and it doesn't phase my :knot: in the slightest.
Oh wrong end, lol. The haterade made me want to vom.
Mix it with at least 50% water, that's what I do for hockey. Full strength it's :gag: but at 1/3 to 1/2 it's :notbad:

Elastomer suspension stems are back! Any thoughts on this?

https://redshiftsports.com/shockstop-suspension-stem

Looks awesome, like a normal stem. And limited travel, suspension provided by squishing elastomer blocks, enduro bearings.... solid piece.

One of my pizza buddies had to return something to backcountry. He called their support number and the guy answered saying he was with competitive cyclist, lol.

We rode. We crashed. We hit some harder trails that were fun/stupid. She washed out on a slow, steep, tight switchback, got caught in the pedal and frame and ended up spraining her ankle.

She's still cool with riding bikes after that?
Yep.

The blue-grade technical downhill trails at Blue are definitely gnarly.

I'm down for Blue but I need to get you fools out to Raystown this fall if the weather ever improves.

It's awesome.
I really need to get out there sometime. As an alternative we could all meat up at White Clay. It's flowy and fast and lots of trails. Def an all-day adventure type ride.

White Clay is likely rekt from the Brandywine flooding that happened recently.

Wiss trashed too?
Lots of washout on the older trails. The newer stuff seems to be holding up well.

Noticed a gash in the rear tire of the cross bike yesterday, so ordered a new one today. $50. I guess that's not horribad but dammit that tire didn't even last a full season :disappoint:

I think it's from my epic Wissahickon Blue Ribbon ride I did. I got a 1" long razor edge rock stuck in the tire and it cut straight through it. Hadn't been an issue, but now the thing is opening up and I can see the tube :yikes:

Meanwhile my MTB has knobs ripped off the rear tire, casing visible, and it's doing just fine. IDK. Maybe next year I'll switch these tires out for something else.

Ordered a new handlebar. I cut too much off when I chopped them down. Going back up to 760mm/30” from 28.

Still shopping for road bike shoes.

Just went with a RaceFace Aeffect again. Light enough. Cheap enough.

When I’m happy with a width, I’ll buy some carbon bars.
