Re: OT 20: rotisserie roller coaster
There are pros and cons … however jobs are jobs they are not going to be from home where you can Jack off between meetings and mow the lawn. Those days are coming to an end. Been saying that since day 1. Also I expect anyone not physically present to be severely disadvantaged from any sort of promo...

https://media2.giphy.com/media/cJMlR1SsCSkUjVY3iK/giphy.gif Springfield is fine. Take a look at Broomall, Aston, Media. Most of the houses in my neighborhood are 300 (attached, 1100sqft) to 450ish (standalone, usually with additoon to lime 1400sqft). One split level just got listed at 475, its a ni...

House hunt sucks. Apparently a half milli in the burbs means you’re poor. I mean I make good money and I can’t afford a lot of the burbs. Unless I’m ok living in Delco like Springfield or Darby [emoji2961] https://media2.giphy.com/media/cJMlR1SsCSkUjVY3iK/giphy.gif Springfield is fine. Take a look ...

Re: Car Talk 6: Best of times and Worst of Times
Zillow and Carvana hold significant amounts of physical assets (carvana at least, are depreciating). Most tech companies Ive worked with are held to ebitda growth. Market share is one factor, but reasonably mature companies will have ebitda as a primary kpi...I can see carvana or zillow having massi...

Does it not run at all? It really seems like a decent :scrooge: moving option IMO. Unless it's too much of a project to trust driving that far? Yeah doesn’t run at all.. would have to get that sorted, plus tires, other maintenance shit, and rent a trailer to haul our shit, plus still drive our two ...

Could put on a disguise and tell the guy he has won a free oil change and you'll handle it right there. Drain the oil into a pan and roll out. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D9nr9NFXYAAyLI_.jpg [emoji38]ol: I doubt that old of a vehicle has a locking gas cap or fuel door.. little sugar in the gas tank...

Sink plumbing rough outs completed. Previously everything was through the floor, I put it back through the wall for our pedestal sink. Lots od sweat joints in here, but no leaks.

Only a matter of time until I get another total shitbox and own this. Previous contenders included a rusted out explorer, clapped out Sebring and a hail damaged Rx8 (which I still kinda miss).

Re: Car Talk 6: Best of times and Worst of Times
In January, buyers paid above the manufacturer's suggested retail price in 82.2% of new-vehicle purchases compared with 2.8% in January 2021, Edmunds.com, a car shopping analyst and data company, said in a report it released Tuesday. Cadillac: average markup of $4,048. Land Rover: average markup of...

Re: Car Talk 6: Best of times and Worst of Times
Surprised to hear of rear end issues on the GM car. Most of those components are evolution instead of revolution. For example the 2.0T engines are pretty much all derived from the same ecotec platform(s) which even borrowed a lot from saab. Many of their other main drive components follow the same p...

Small motorboat. I may also get a little sunfish or something too, but thinking 17-24 ft or so, bow rider with an outboard would be ideal. Gotcha. Growing up, we had a 17' Maxum that we would tow to a ramp in North East River and then spend the day water skiing in Still Pond. It was an outboard tha...

Anyone in here got a boat? I had a couple crappy boats as a kid and did a lot of sailing too...the itch is coming back. Our jerp can handle towing up to 7200lbs so that gives a lot to work with. The only thing i dont wanna deal with is hull repair, anything mechanical I can fix. We already have fam...

Never updated with finiahed shower pics. Weve had the shower done for several months now. I just ripped the remaining walls and tile down. Sink is gone, toilet just to block poop chute. Hard part is done! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220206/421023d91d77ed354adb2af1b1b2c92c.jpg https://uploads....
