Do you even beard, bro?

https://www.suavecito.com/products/beard-oil Even after just two uses I like this one better than the Texas Beard supply stuff. It seems to penetrate better. Even after brushing through, the TBS stuff still left things a little greasy feeling. This has not. I need to keep on the oil game regularly a...

Do you even beard, bro?

I figured I'd try it at least once. It's a nice enough place that I might consider getting my haircut there. While the woman I currently go to is great, it is now a 25 min drive to get to her place, and that's when there is no traffic. Hard to pass up a 5 mins walk from work.

Re: lease I have no idea what the situation is in the front house, but I am not on the same lease as they are, it's treated entirely separate since we're talking houses that are detached, here. I would have declined if that were a requirement.

I went into a barber shop 2 blocks from work to see about a legit beard trim. Barber was surprised that I hadn't had one, was very complimentary of what I had goin' on. :fuckyeah: Could be just marketing customer service, dunno. Anyway, still got a mild shape up for $15, mostly getting the outliers ...

Lease says nothing about a specific split percentage since the number of roommates can vary. For example, there were 3 in the front house, the dude moved out so now just 2. There was verbal agreement that it would be split appropriately, which, yeah, I know, verbal means shit. :aintcare: It is also ...

The VW has to live outside, not everything will fit. The Nest cam covers the driveway quite well so, if she decides to be crazy and stupid, there will be evidence. I was already considering leaving it at work when I am in Portland for two weeks in June/July.

Documenting for potential future drama. Backstory - Move In When I moved in here (Nov. 2017) landlord said the water bill is a single meter and the bill goes to the other (front) house. I'd owe around $40 a month and would pay one of the roommates, Sarah. Sarah gets my number from landlord, texts me...

In the last 16 years I have bought 3 cars, sold 1, and wrecked 0, my fault or otherwise.

There. I win.

Can we return to Zilch buying an ND and keeping motorbike toys now please? :-)

Seeing the design of these things makes me wonder if I can just strap one of my existing bags down. I have this, and the extra straps that came with the 30L backpack. I might experiment this weekend before dropping more coin. The Peak Design bags are waterproof also.

I haven't looked much at side soft bags, but those might allow me to ditch the backpack entirely in a lot of situations. Hmmm. I have one of these https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/nelson-rigg-cl-1060-s-sport-tail-bag Can confirm it'll haul a couple 6 packs. I'll check that out also. The Kriega st...

I can concur with this. Being a long-distance landlord is a PITA. You can somewhat mitigate it by using a property management company, but then you're losing some of the money you'd be making, and depending on what the market does and how much your mortgage is, you can find yourself out of pocket s...

I’ve discussed with Jessi and we’ve said the past couple years that I’m just going to grab one of you at tail and have you teach me but once we get down there, spending a couple hours doing that is way less fun than going driving/riding. Heh, last thing... don't give me ideas. One of these days whe...

It all comes down to 1+1=murder. I end up crying over fearing I’m destroying his clutch or disappointing him. I hear ya. Sno - Calla and I survived a manual trans lesson in the VW. She gave good feedback on how I approached teaching it. That's of course if part of the barrier is that 1+1=murder when it comes to y'all doing this together. If the VW comes to the tail, you should try it. Shifting can be awkward to learn ...
