I still haven’t seen the second. The first was great.

State seems like a good deal but just know quality will be pretty spotty. A friend of mine had one and the head tube separated from the down tube on him. He was riding MTB trails but still. The all city has been good to me overall. It takes a beating and keeps asking for more. I treat it really poo...

With careful tire selection they’re not worlds slower than a road bike. And yes you will be under-biked on MTB trails so you have to select the trail carefully, but honestly that can be kind of fun. It certainly makes most trails feel way more gnarly and wild. I dunno. Dan’s use case is exactly how...

I still really want a gravel bike but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger as I don't know how much use I'll really get. The main thing would be there's some really fun/fast MTB trails down in SC I can get to from my house almost entirely by paved greenway. It's about 12 miles each way, so it's a slog ...

I actually went for a road ride last week. It was nice out so I went local to some good roads and such I used to love riding on. I’d like to say it felt great but I had no power and could hardly do the hills. I have lots of catching up to do if I even want to hang on the casual shop rides. Hopefully...

https://i.postimg.cc/3yjVZrty/IMG-2169.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/JD1gYwFp/IMG-2173.jpg Spent about 3 hours Friday and 4 hours Saturday crouched inside this tiny ass knee wall to fix my air duct. The duct had fallen and totally separated in two spots. It is a foam board duct (common) but wasn’t stapl...

I think the proportions of the C8 are off. So it only looks good if the color and all is just right.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 2:30 pm I saw another C8 at the Costco gas station last night. Crappy wheels...the square exhaust, WHITE.... Everything has to be just right with these or it's a no go.

5 weeks in with baby Bea. Was going smoothly then she stopped gaining weight. Unsure of the reason but she can no longer breastfeed. She’s not taking any milk from Lisa. So back to bottles and looking into a possible tongue tie. I can’t do this again. The tongue tie exercises and oral function stuf...

Our last infant seat was a Graco. It seemed ok. Well new crash reports came out and that used to be ranked high and now it’s awful. So we got a new one since we needed a new stroller anyway, went with Uppababy since they’re high reviewed. Good lord this infant seat is enormous and weighs a fucking ...

It's like... :mk6: -esque in size by my estimation. :dat: The caddy and alfa are about a class size down in rear seat space when compared to a 3 series which is why they got dq'ed when I was looking. Yeah it’s out. Realistically I’d never buy one anyway due to premium fuel but too bad nonetheless.

Ah balls. Yeah way too small for the child fortresses that are rear facing car seats. It's unreal how big those things are. Our last infant seat was a Graco. It seemed ok. I could ride behind myself in the 328i all day. I’m tall but my legs are relatively short and I s...

How’s the back seat space behind you? Usable by a toddler? I love these cars.

Most of it. Both fenders need to be redone with the badges pulled so it's done correctly. Roof to get rid of the dirt underneath and because it's peeling up at the corner. Fix the weather stripping on the roof which he didn't do and the b pillar bubbles. The think the front bumper is okay despite h...

Yeah if you want / require a manual there’s not a whole ton of options that aren’t old as dirt. I’d probably off it and find something with a real back seat that could sling a kid around occasionally. This might be a dumb suggestion so go ahead and laugh me off the forum. But what about something l...

So far it's radio silence from Covrgard. I messaged them on their site and emailed them. Detailer of doom thinks I'm just dropping the car tomorrow for the b pillar. Chalk it up as a loss and have it redone by someone competent maybe. Could call the local high end dealerships and see who they use. They likely contract that out. I'm already about $2800 in the hole with this dude. Pay another shop to remove + install more film. Woof. It would all add up to be abo...
