I believe it … I posted here about the fake Poorsche I rented as well. It was cockster that was advertised as a cockster S… the seats were all cracked … the steering wheel was sandpapered … It was full of sand … like every frunk was sandy The center console was completely busted and shriveled up th...

OT 21: DFD Giveth and DFD Taketh Away
Shits gonna cost everyone like $2k to go. I'm of the opinion that if you're having a wedding that requires EVERYONE get on an airplane you should be paying for travel or the accommodations. Why is going to a wedding a requirement. Seems like this is done on purpose to keep the headcount low as a lo...

It's NOT a family car. It's a dickswinger tech bro car. Nobody buys that thing thinking it's going to go through consumables (mostly notably fuel) like a highlander. But if not for family, why not just get an M2 that is $50k less and better? M2 doesn’t “swing dicks” would have to be an M8 or M8 vert

The 50k mile Camaro was like 650k NYC Crown Vic taxi status. I believe it … I posted here about the fake Poorsche I rented as well. Dude does some BS in pharma and his "wife" runs a daycare. I don't see them as dickswingers. Dickswingers drive a Urus or a G63. Not some bavarian knock off sports SUV that isn't even the top trim. Or nowadays or probably soon, Cybertruck. I just heard a rumor where 4 roomies split lease ...

Its something about the combo of saltwater/constant rain and brutal sun + being loaded with tourists to the brim that just absolutely wrecks them. IMO it's a unique durability study for OEMs... just pull apart a 2 year old car from hawaii to see 10 years of real world use.

I really don’t get that trim level. It’s has the m motor … but it’s detuned … m badging all over the place … it’s over 100k msrp … but it’s not an XM5 A horrendous fam car imo from a cost of ownership perspective when you have a great B58 powered X5 for like 65k Suspension. All the youtubers say th...

I rented a Nissan Armada with 39K miles on it in Hawaii. "Tahoe Class Vehicle." It was.......a pile. Rear suspension sag big time, resulting in near tuck with 4 passengers and luggage. Handled vaguely even accounting for its barge status. Thirsty. Ugly. Some mediocre design components lik...

Congrats ! Don’t worry about the car right now. You got more important things to solve for and you’ll be taking the suv with the kid anyways It’s always about the car sitch! I’m excited for me and :sawce: to rock babies in tiny cars together though :lolol: It’s not just the car seat you always have...

I could see that for sure. I got that car seat fully installed in here. It just barely fits behind the passenger seat with the passenger seat slid all the way up. Michelle can fit there still, but it’s tight. Luckily we shouldn’t ever need to drive with the three of us in here, but nice to know we ...

Breh notes P2 cars have the silver push button start on the shift knob. Yep, no keyless with start stop no P2. @ Max, my friend Eric in SF got the 2008 w/Pano and no P2. You can get a 2007 Mazda 3 Grand Touring........Bi Xenon. But a 2007 MBZ E Class with Bi-Xenon is unobtanium. In retrospect it ma...

What do you guys pay for registration fees in your respective states ? Here in cali it is roughly 1.5% of the car's value per year. Curious what ya'll are seeing. Flat fees here, with a few different qualifiers. We live in Multnomah county, so we have the dumb fucking $112 fee on top of the $136. S...

Yep. Low depreciation, relatively cheap maintenance, pretty decent reliability and cheap consumable parts compared to other SUVs. Now my buddies X5m60i was just at the 10k dealer service and they suggested they do rear tires... they are 335 wide and cost $750+ a PIECE + install. 2k or so all in :hu...

I can't ever get more than 30K out of any tires, which is because I drive like an asshole? Now I hear about all this dry rot, and I'm like :thisisfine: I mean same and I don't even put many miles on.
